The disjointed color on the right-hand rock wall was bothering me. Much happier with the current color scheme. Planning to add some rocks on the bottom near the edge of the water.
Update 2/13: added some color to the water. Can’t decide if I like it or not. I think I might need to work on that some more.
As of today (2/10/2024), I have yet to decide what I’m going to put on the sign by the door.
Here’s a painting in progress. It took me forever to decide on a subject matter. It made logical sense to take photos of architecture, and/or photos of cool-looking objects, but somehow I couldn’t manage to find any inspiration there. I finally realized that I wanted to paint liminal spaces. Specifically, I like the idea of doorways, passageways, mazes, and corridors.
